The new Local Church Executive Committee was elected into office on 22 September 2020. While some of the members are not new to ministry, Loaves+Fishes took the opportunity to get to know the LCEC members better and grilled them with four quick questions.

Q: What does church ministry mean to you? A: Doing my part or acting my faith. Being involved in ministry is just a natural part of learning to follow Christ and what it means to be a Christian. Church life is a part of that. Q: Why is ministry leadership important to you? A: The youths are immensely inspiring and a joy to work with! It’s not really about leading a ministry as much as it is about seeing the gospel take root in the lives of young people and seeing them pursue Jesus on their own. Q: How do you approach serving? A: Serving is about availing yourself to be a part of what God is already doing. For myself, this is a reminder to actively be flexible and sensitive to the Word.
